Plot

Filmmaker D.W. Young examines the complex issues of development, class, and identity in one of New York's most unique neighborhoods by focusing his lens on the unseen world that exists just behind a crumbling, rusty fence in Red Hook, Brooklyn. The stories that surround the spot include a lost homeless community, an urban farm run by local kids amidst crumbling sidewalks, the arrival of a controversial IKEA megastore, and a struggle to save a precious part of the neighborhood's working waterfront. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
