A Light Unto the Nations
Plot
Part of the Alef-Bet Blastoff series, this film follows David and Rachel as they learn of the history behind the important traditions of their faith. This episode finds the children reluctant to give up their space to a visiting Jewish writer. Through the intervention of Mitzvah Mouse, the children go back to New York in the 1880s where author Emma Lazarus imparts an important lesson about the tradition of welcoming strangers. ~ Rob Ferrier, RoviCast
