"A Love Before Time" was the end-credit song from the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The song was nominated for Academy Award for Best Song in 2000. It was written by Jorge Calandrelli, Tan Dun (music), and James Schamus (lyrics) It was performed by Coco Lee, who also performed the song live at the Academy Award ceremony in 2001. The Chinese language version of the song is called 月光爱人 (Simplified Chinese) Yuè Guāng Ài Rén (Moonlight Lover).
