Plot

This political documentary takes a speedy, fast-paced, verbose tour through what seems like endless liberal groups, movements, and leaders in the known world -- in just 90 minutes. Brief clips of interviews with the famous or infamous as varied as Theodore Weiss and William Kunstler, an attorney for civil liberties, are mixed with sound bytes from lesser-known leaders of the Urban League, the Green Party of West Germany, the American Indian Movement (AIM), and several other groups representing minorities or rebels, or both. Interspersed with these talking segments are songs by Richie Havens, clips from other documentaries, and historical footage.
