This ambience release constitutes one volume in a series of issues that juxtapose scenic onscreen environments, themed by country, with classical music from the nation at hand on the soundtrack. The land in question on this occasion is Uzbekistan, in the former Soviet Union; the program tours two key Uzbekistani locales: the cities of Khiva and Bukhara, onetime stops on the famous Silk Road, replete with gorgeous mosques, medrese, and elaborate art.
