A N D Music Corp. (formerly Young Chang America) is the US marketing and distribution arm of Korea-based piano-maker Young Chang. Products include acoustic pianos under brands such as Young Chang and Bergmann, as well as Kurzweil synthesizers and digital pianos. The company ships to dealers throughout North America via its facility in Lakewood, Washington, and from vendor warehouses in California and Kentucky. A controversial bid by Samick Music Instrument to buy a large stake in Young Chang in 2004 -- the Korean government has tried to void the deal over monopoly issues -- quashed A N D's plan to join up with Samick's American operating division in early 2005.
