Review

A Rope of Sand is another anomalous CD from the Circular Ruins (Anthony Paul Kerby). He weaves arduous timbres and simple textures with simple timbres and arduous textures to deliver more questions with no answers. Kerby takes his listeners on journeys to unnamed and unknown regions. The tours are Zen experiences where everything is possible and nothing is probable. There is no lack of fulfillment. Each traveler is free to take everything, anything, or nothing. The journeys are worthy. This disc is exceptional. This is as deep as deep gets. ~ Jim Brenholts, Rovi
