Review
In what seems to be a bit of a different step for Fueled By Ramen, the Aeffect is a three-piece act that is pure '80s techno. Think Joy Electric or early Depeche Mode with a killer backbeat and catchy choruses fueled in a dark manner, but not as bleak as much of the techno-pop of yore. A couple of piano tracks are thrown into this album to give it a somber feel and to take the edge off the bubbliness.
