Review
Big Eye's A Tribute to Britney Spears is a success, if only because the faithful, earnest versions of "Oops! I Did It Again," "Stronger," and "Baby One More Time" ring with a bit of what made the songs hits in the first place. They're not nearly as strong as the originals, of course; despite her limitations as a vocalist, Spears injects a sizzling pizzazz into her performances that these studio musicians and vocalists just can't replicate.
