This second volume in the Big Eye label's tribute to Cher includes such hits as "I Got You Babe," "Love Hurts," and "(This Is) A Song for the Lonely," performed with mirth by a series of Cher impersonators. What's really great about the collection is the depth and breadth of impersonation displayed. "Baby Don't Go" (originally from 1965) features classic, husky-voiced Cher, while "Body to Body, Heart to Heart" emulates the latter-day rebirth of the singer as a pitch-shifted dance diva.
