Plot

This comedy and political satire stars the popular Hungarian comic actor Laszlo Kabos in a dual role playing twin brothers. After World War II, one brother moves to America and takes the new name of Alexander Hello. Zoltan remains behind in his native Hungary. Alexander returns years later for a family reunion which leads to hilarious cases of mistaken identity. Al even makes love to his brother's wife. The Hungarian bureaucracy is lampooned as the locals fall over themselves in pursuit of American tourist dollars. When an international group of male lechers pay admission to a strip show, the person whose country has the greatest return of monetary exchange is allowed to stay the longest. Hungarians are asked to leave less than halfway through the performance. Russians stay a little longer as the ruble is more valuable than local currency, and since the dollar is the most valuable denomination, Americans are allowed to stay the longest. ~ Dan Pavlides, Rovi
