Alfred William Brian Simpson QC (hon.), FBA (August 17, 1931[1][2] – January 10, 2011)[3] usually referred to as A. W. B. Simpson, was a British legal historian and the emeritus Charles F. and Edith J. Clyne Professor of Law at the University of Michigan Law School.[3]
