Review
Eccentric Australian songwriter has been dealing in casual lo-fi music since the '60s, when his Adrenaline and Richard album was set to establish him as Australia's own Bob Dylan. His skewed genius proved to be too abstract and he flopped from pop stardom leaving the then British penal colony short of a great folk singer. Living in absolute obscurity until his rediscovery by the Emperor Jones label in the '90s, Pip Proud started recording again thanks to the encouragement of his friend the New Zealand singer/songwriter Alistair Galbraith.
