Transportation

  • Taxi — There are taxis traveling to the city available from outside the terminal building.
  • Bus — There are two airport bus services that take passengers from the airport to: Frederikshavn via Sæby and Hirtshals via Brønderslev and Hjørring. There are also coaches to Aalborg.
  • Road — There are several options available to travelers arriving and leaving the airport: car; bus; and taxi services.

Directions

  • From Aalborg
    • Take route 180 just over the Limfjord Bridge. Afterwards take route 55 until just outside Nørresundby. Follow the signs.
  • From north (from Hirtshals)
    • Take the highway (route E39). Take exit 10. Follow route 11 until the round-about-crash with route 55. Take route 55 and follow the signs.
  • From south (from Aarhus)
    • Take the highway (route E45). Take exit 21. Go right through Nørresundby. In the t-cross go left on route 55. Follow the signs.
