Biography

Tech-house DJ and Director of Publicity and Promotions for the well-respected Ubiquity label, Aaron Michelson first learned to DJ on a Denon turntable with a homemade slipmat constructed from Kleenex. His college years at Carnegie Mellon introduced him to better equipment and WRCT, the revered college radio station where his BleepbloopRadio show offered listeners the latest in techno, house, and drum'n'bass from 1997 until 2001, when Michelson made the move to Los Angeles. It took only a year of DJing on the West Coast before the :\run label was releasing Michelson's mix CD debut, The 4 A.M. Sound of Tech House. His mix sets have since appeared on the digital cable/satellite radio service Music Choice plus XM satellite radio. He also hosts the popular the Dirty Dirty House night at L.A.'s Akbar club. ~ David Jeffries, Rovi
