Abandoned [1][2][3] is a 30-minute American docu-reality television series by Picture Shack Entertainment[4] that aired on History on 30 December 2011. The series follows three men (Jay Chaikin, Dan, and Mark) who try to make money by scavenging abandoned places across America.[5]
The series was originally slated as urban exploration with the history of why a particular place closed or was otherwise abandoned.[6]
