Abbadia Lariana is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 50 km northeast of Milan and about 8 km northwest of Lecco. The village has c. 3.280 inhabitants and his name is due to the presence of an abbey (abbazia in Italian) founded in the IX century and later destroyed.
