Abbey Business Centres is a UK based corporation that provides serviced office space, meeting room facilities and virtual office packages in 13 business centres across Great Britain.

The company is owned by Irvine Laidlaw (Baron Laidlaw), Scotland's second richest businessman [1] and previous owner of the Institute for International Research [2]

History

Abbey Business Centres was founded in 1998 with their first business centre opening in Glasgow, Scotland and soon the company opened up another centre in Slough, Berkshire. A host of other centres were added to the portfolio over the subsequent years meaning that in 2009, a total of 13 centres made up the organisation.

In late 2008, the company celebrated its 10th year in trading.

In 2009 Abbey became the first UK serviced office provider to offer a 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee.[citation needed]
