Abbot Group provides services to oil and gas customers worldwide. The company, primarily through its KCA DEUTAG and Bentec subsidiaries, provides international drilling, well engineering, and wireline services in more than 20 countries. It also offers oil rig design and construction services. Abbot operates a fleet of more than 60 land drilling rigs, 30 offshore drilling platforms, and 10 mobile offshore drilling rigs. KCA DEUTAG is the largest offshore platform drilling contractor in the UK North Sea. It is also a leading land drilling contractor. Customers include TOTAL, Exxon Mobil, BP, and Hess. Oilfield services and drilling firm Bentec, based in Germany, offers expertise in rig design and assembly.
