TV5 News and Public Affairs is the news division of Philippine television network Associated Broadcasting Company. The organization is responsible for the daily news and information gathering of the network's news and public affairs programs. TV5 News and Public Affairs is headed by former ABS-CBN news correspondent Ed Lingao and TV5 Public Affairs is headed by Jim Libiran. From August 09, 2008, the date when ABC-5 changed its branding to TV5, the News department's new slogan is "All the news you want and all the news you need".
