Poker Guide:

ABC Player

A player who plays very predictably. ABC players follow the same betting patterns by making consistently making similar plays. This type of player tends to be a beginner who plays by the book, rarely varying how they will play specific hands, and playing fairly tight.

SoundPoker Says: An ABC player will often do well at lower stakes games where opponents fail to notice their predictable plays. However, ABC players can be easily overtaken by more experienced and advanced players who are more adept at spotting their specific tells.

For example, a Texas Hold'em player who only plays the top ten strongest pre-flop hands, and only raises pre-flop when holding the top 5 hands is an ABC Player.
