Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Ahmad bin Ali bin Abdullah bin Jassim bin Muhammed Al Thani (born in 1945 in Doha and died in 2008 in Saudi Arabia) He was the eldest son of the ruler Ahmad ibn `Ali Al Thani of Qatar.
Sheikh Abdulaziz Bin Ahmed Al Thani served as Minister for Health between 1967 and 1972. He was promised to become the crown Prince of Qatar, but on 22 February 1972, in a nonviolent palace coup undertaken by prime minister Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani. He left Qatar with his father, Sheikh Ahmad bin Ali Al Thani, and lived in Saudi Arabia- Jeddah until his death on February 14, 2008 and was buried in Qatar.
