2. Also a Levite of the house of Merari, the father of Kish. Because of the similarity of their sons' names, some Bible scholars assume this Abdi to be identical with the one above.

3. One of the sons of Elam. He was among those who had married foreign wives but repudiated them in response to Ezra's exhortations (Ezra 10:10-12, 26).
