Shaykh `Abdu'r-Raḥmán (full name: Shaykh 'Abdu'r-Rahman-i-Talabani of Karkuk) was a Sufi leader who lived in Iraq. He posed many mystical questions to Bahá'u'lláh who wrote the Seven Valleys and Four Valleys as a reply.
