Abdul Rahim Hatef (b 1926 in Kandahar) is an Afghan politician.[1] He served as Vice President during the last years of the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan.[citation needed]
After the fall of Kabul, he was the acting President of Afghanistan for two weeks in April 1992, due to the overthrow of President Mohammad Najibullah.[citation needed]
