Abenobashi Terminal Building (阿部野橋ターミナルビル) is a multi-marchandise facility in Abenosuji Itchome, Abeno-ku, Osaka, Japan, consisting of New Annex (新館, main tennants: Osaka Abenobashi Station, Kintetsu Department Store), Eastern Annex (東館, main tennant: Tennoji Miyako Hotel), and a skyscraper. Currently the western building is under reconstruction and it will be a 300 m (984 ft) tall skyscraper, Abeno Harukas (あべのハルカス). The reconstruction began in January 2010, and is scheduled to be completed in 2014. Upon completion, the building will have 62 floors, making it the tallest building in Osaka, as well as the tallest building in Japan.
It is planned as the alternative station building of Ōsaka Abenobashi Station, the terminal of Kintetsu Minami-Osaka Line. It will contain new main store of Kintetsu Department Store and new headquarters office of Sharp Corporation.

The name of the skyscraper "Abeno Harukas" comes from the old Japanese word "晴るかす" (harukasu). It means "to brighten, to clear up".[1]
