Biography

Upon the self-release of their 1998 debut album entitled @, Abercrombie showcased their punky, guitar-based standards that were heavy and melodic at the same time. Having gotten together the same year as the release of their first album, the lineup would eventually settle down to Derek Phillips (vocals/guitar/keyboards), John Key (drums), Erik Phillips (guitar), and Cordell Crockett (bass) -- the latter of the two being former members of Ugly Kid Joe -- the following year. By October of 1999, Abercrombie's second album, Comeback Kids, followed. ~ Mike DaRonco, Rovi
