Abernyte is a small village in Perth and Kinross in Scotland.
The village lies roughly 2 miles (3.2 km) northwest of the former Inchture railway station, and around 7 miles (11 km) west of Dundee.[1]
The village has a heritage organisation, the Abenyte Heritage Group, which was formed in 1988.
The history of Abernyte in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries is documented in Abernyte: The Quite Revolution which was written by the late Dr Mary Young and the Abernyte Heritage Group and published in 2008.[2][3][4]
Abernyte was once home to Stout Brothers Motors, whose main dealership lay around a quarter mile South of the village, however the building is now an Antique's Centre.
