Top

An Abhidharma text composed in prose by the Yogācārin scholar- monk Asaṇga. Largely Mahāyāna in orientation, the treatise conforms in structure to the pattern of traditional Abhidharma texts. This work, available in a partial Sanskrit manuscript as well as Chinese, Tibetan, and Mongolian translations, traditionally functioned as the main Abhidharma text for Mahāyāna Buddhists.
