Ablation Therapy

A procedure used to treat arrhythmias, especially atrial fibrillation. During the procedure, a catheter (small, flexible tube) is inserted in a vein and threaded to the heart. High-frequency electrical energy is delivered through the catheter to disconnect the pathway causing the abnormal heart rhythm in the heart.
