Associação Académica da Praia is a football (soccer) club that plays in the Premier division of the Interisland League in Cape Verde. It is played along with Praia's three other famous teams in Estádio da Varzea. It won several cups before and after independence. The team never won any national titles. It also had won two insular titles and recently won their first cup in 2007.
The team won their second title and advanced to the finals, it challenged against Sal-Rei FC and lost both legs, 2-0 in the first and 1-2 in the second.
