The Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (Slovak: Vysoká škola múzických umení v Bratislave, abbr. VŠMU) is a university founded on June 9, 1949.
The university consists of three faculties:
Notable members and alumni of the Faculty of Music and Dance include Alexander Moyzes, Ján Cikker, Jolana Fogašová, Ľudovít Rajter, Frico Kafenda, Ladislav Slovák, Ferdinand Klinda, Ivan Hrušovský, Andrej Očenáš, Pavol Gábor, Štefan Hoza, Bohdan Warchal and Miroslav Dvorský.
