Aces and Spaces

Top

When a player's hand consists of a pair of aces and nothing else.

SoundPoker Says: This term is most often used negatively to express holding a hand which has a low chance of winning.

For example, in a showdown in which a player's opponent has a straight flush, the losing player may say "I've got nothing but Aces and Spaces."
