Sweeping in on a wave of stark drum programs and atmospherics that sound closer to tape hiss than anything intentional, the 11-minute megalith-on-wax of "Acid Trax" is an incredibly raw cut -- witness the plodding four-four beats and lack of a bridge. Still, the superb acid squelch, ripe for the picking by DJs across the world, continued to impress long after the first hundred or so "covers" and answer records flooded the dance racks. ~ John Bush, Rovi
