ACTEW Corporation Limited is a government-owned company with assets and investments in water, wastewater, electricity, gas and telecommunications. ACTEW is wholly owned by the ACT Government. The company’s voting shareholders are the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of the ACT.
ACTEW owns the water and wastewater business and assets in the ACT and is a 50% owner of ActewAGL, a multi-utility provider of electricity and gas services, and operator of the water and wastewater business. ACTEW also holds an interest in TransACT Communications Pty Limited and is a joint owner of Ecowise Environmental Pty Limited.
