Action Products International (API) designs, makes, and markets nonviolent, educational products with a focus on science, nature, and space. International Action is a small political group in Hong Kong campaigning on a range of issues including social justice, human rights and democracy. The group was founded in 2004 by expatriate permanent residents wanting to bring new ideas to the democracy movement, that work for the cultural, social and political situation of modern day Hong Kong. The group uses a mixed strategy of campaigning both in public and behind the scenes. The group is committed to non-violence and states that it takes action in a creative, but controlled manner.
