From dawn to dusk and back again, Active Day sees no rest until it has cared for the needs of its elderly and disabled clients. The company operates about 50 adult day care centers in more than half a dozen states. Visitors to its centers participate in social gatherings, crafts, exercise, and other activities. The centers also provide medical care (such as physical therapy and nursing care) and assistance with personal care, including feeding and bathing. Active Day offers its patients transportation to and from home, as well. It also provides therapeutic services to independent clients, and operates home health agencies.
