Take a trip down memory lane in Activision Hits Remixed, a collection of Atari VCS games released by publishers Activision and Imagic between 1980 and 1988. Over 40 titles are selectable from a menu screen disguised as a game room. Reminisce about the "good ol' days" of electronic entertainment while playing such classics as MegaMania, Starmaster, River Raid, Pitfall II, Demon Attack, and Chopper Command, all emulated on PSP to retain their original graphics and sound effects.
As in the PlayStation 2's Activision Anthology, Hits Remixed includes a licensed soundtrack from the 1980s, an archive of manuals and patches, television advertisements, and an assortment of other unlockables. Titles supporting two players are playable with a friend via Ad-hoc wireless connection. Only one UMD disc is required for multiplayer action, allowing owners to share games between nearby handhelds. Activision Hits Remixed also supports in-game saves for players to resume their point-oriented progress at a later time.
