Vn. conc. falsely attrib. to the 10‐year‐old Mozart, supposedly ded. to the Princess Adélaïde, daughter of King Louis XV of France. F.p. Paris 1931 with M. Casadesus as soloist and accepted as genuine by many distinguished violinists. In 1977 Casadesus admitted he had written it.
