Adam-Troy Castro is a science fiction, fantasy, and horror writer living in Florida. He has more than seventy stories to his credit and has been nominated for numerous awards, including the Hugo, Nebula, and Stoker. He has a longstanding interest in pop-culture so might be best known to the public for his Spider-Man novels. His continuing characters include the inept spacemen, Vossoff and Nimmitz, who appear in the collection Just a Couple of Idiots Reupholstering Space and Time. He also is a reviewer for the website SF Weekly.

He has a wife, Judi, and four cats.

Awards

In 2007, Castro and Jerry Oltion won the Seiun Award for Best Foreign Language Short Story of the Year for "The Astronaut from Wyoming."
