An occasional temporary stoppage or extreme slowing of the pulse as a result of heart block, causing dizziness, fainting, and sometimes convulsions. Also called Morgagni's disease, Spens' syndrome, Stokes-Adams disease, Stokes-Adams syndrome.

A condition due to cerebral ischemia, marked by sudden attacks of unconsciousness, with or without convulsions; associated with heart block or ventricular tachycardias. Called also Stokes–Adams attack, syndrome or syncope or Adams–Stokes syndrome.
