Plot

This entertaining Greek melodrama from veteran filmmaker Orestis Laskos stars Eleni Hadjiargyri as Anna, whose perfect ten-year marriage to architect Dimitris (Yiorgos Foundos) hits a potentially fatal snag. Anna is diagnosed with cancer, but is so noble and loves her husband so much that she not only keeps it secret, but tries to get Dimitris to fall in love with his secretary (Beata Assimakopoulou), so he'll have someone after she's gone. Admittedly mawkish and sentimental, this is one of those rare films which proves that such qualities don't necessarily obviate a well-played tale.
