Gupta is a fashion designer by profession from Pune.[citation needed] She started her acting career in the soap opera, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil opposite Harshad Chopra when she was 19 years old.[citation needed] She has performed at events such as the Star Parivaar Awards, Star Plus's Rang De India and Balaji's Diwali Rishton Ki.[citation needed] She has done cameo roles in Kayamath and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.[citation needed] She also participated in Zara Nachke Dikha, in which her team won.[1].
