¡Adelante Mujeres!

Plot

In this celebration of Mexican-American/Chicana women, their enduring character shines forth. Through the use of art, an extensive collection of photographs, and video footage, the story of Chicana women is told in ¡Adelante Mujeres! Strong matriarchs and socially responsible civic figures, they are seen over a period of five hundred years. The program is produced by the National Women's History Project, which recognizes and highlights the accomplishments of women all over the world.
