Aden Brigade
The Aden Brigade was a formation of the British Indian Army formed for service in Aden during World War I.[1] It was commanded by Major General Bell and consisted of the:
- Aden Cavalry Troop
- 1st Battalion Royal Irish Rifles
- 109th Infantry
- 61st Battery Royal Garrison Artillery
- 70th Battery Royal Garrison Artillery
- 76th Battery Royal Garrison Artillery [2]
The British Army also formed an Aden Brigade to deal with the Aden Emergency in the 1960s.
