Admor
(Heb. acronym of Adonénu Morénu ve-Rabbénu---"Our lord, teacher, and master"). Honorific title which Ḥasidic Jews (mainly in Israel) often give to one of their dynastic leaders (see also Tsaddik). In Diaspora communities, the Yiddish title of Rebbe is more usual.
