Adobe Contribute is a Web content management application that is designed to facilitate collaborative editing of Web sites. It provides version control[citation needed] and workflow management features. Adobe claims that the software allows users to edit Web pages without knowing HTML, and that the application can easily embed multimedia components.

The Contribute editor is designed to integrate with Adobe's Dreamweaver software, and other Adobe products. Contribute also includes an in-browser editing component that works as a plug-in for recent versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.

Contribute consists of two products, a client for editing, and of a "publishing server" that Adobe describes as "complementary". The system requirements, and what features of Contribute are activated or enhanced by the use of the publishing server are not made clear by the Contribute Web site.
