Adobe OnLocation (formerly Serious Magic DV Rack) is a direct-to-disk recording and monitoring software. It supports adding metadata to recorded content.
It was originally developed by Serious Magic Inc. in September 2004, which was acquired by Adobe Systems in 2006. It is, however, not available as a standalone product and can only be obtained with the purchase of Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, Adobe Production Premium CS4, or Adobe Master Collection. The CS4 version is available for Windows and Intel-based Macintosh Computers running Mac OSX; earlier versions were Windows-only.
