Adobe Stock Photos, also known as ASP, is a royalty-free image database integrated into Adobe Creative Suite 2 and 3.
Adobe decided to shut down this service on April 1, 2008, with customer support ending in June. On the Adobe Stock Photos website, it states "Adobe made this decision in order to focus efforts in other areas."
In an interview, the leader of the ASP division at Adobe Systems stated that while ASP was promising in the beginning it didn't hold up to expectations.
