A seaport on the Aegean Sea, situated in Mysia, at the northwest corner of Asia Minor, north of Pergamos. Paul, as a prisoner in the custody of the centurion Julius, embarked at Caesarea on a ship from Adramyttium sailing to various points on the Asia Minor coast (Acts 27:1-2).
